Edwardian Ruby and Diamond Ring Iron The inscription on the reverseA lovely cluster ring with a central old mine cut diamond surrounded by six Burma rubies and eighteen 8 cut diamonds set in silver and 18 carat gold. The triple shank features a reeded centre. There are approximately 60 points of rubies and 50 points of diamonds. This was a very popular style of ring in the Edwardian period. There are examples with turquoise, sapphire, emerald and pearl. This ruby and diamond combination is particularly beautiful.
