You can use it for smaller cameras nothing stopping you but it's definitely better for the big stuff. In good working order, with some cosmetic paint and finish wear. The included plate is a standard hex type with a large adjustable 10x15cm platform. Please note that while the platform is removable, the included hex plate can't be used by itself without a shorter camera
